Funds permitting I wouldn't have much problem payin $20k for a car like that. I'm sure you'd be in over that doing a resto on your own. Maybe I'm wrong

considering i could have had a 2011 for 27000 with very low miles.id rather have the newer style with all the creature comforts.

PLus that thing comes with a T45, not even a T56, NO ac or heat?? In that price range, id expect a better selection of parts other than a new 5.0 motor.... Its a beautiful car none the less.

I don't think you're wrong. It looks like the owner paid somebody to do it.( Unless he's the shop owner) If not, even at 18,100.00, his ass is still bleeding.

Wrong. Cup holder is between the ebrake and passenger seat. How many times do i have to remind you guys?

I guess you didn't read the auction - has heat, AC and power steering. Has all of that. And the T56 currently has some issues with blowing 2nd or 3rd gear on normally driven street conditions - not even track conditions. Chinese transmissions FTL

Nice car.
But underpowered IMO for the amount of work and money that went into it.
For around the same price you could get a finely polished terminator swap fox that would mop the floor with this car.

I've always said i love the coyote, but i love it in a 2011 mustang only. It's just not worth the time and effort to swap into another car.
Different yes, better no.
If coyote engines were a dime a dozen in the jy, i'd say do it, but they are not and the swap parts aren't cheap either.
Price out a whipple for a coyote, you could buy a good condition fox for the same price as just the kit.

My swap probably came in a few thousand bucks cheaper, and nets 120rwhp more.

Not sure about you guys, but i'm in it for the reliability and the power, not just just uniqueness.

With that said, it's still nice and think the right person will still pay 20 grand for it.

In the long run this will be THE NA motor to swap into a Fox...but it's going to take a long time to get from here to there. They'll have to be cheap and easy to source from salvage yards, swap parts and electroncis will have to be affordable and plug and play...etc. Until then, i agree i'd just assume have a Termi in a Fox than the Coyote, although if i were rich i admit i would still build one lol.

As for this car, no thanks. I'll spend $20k+ on a gently used '11 GT.

Terminators engines and Coyote engines will not come down much in the yards guys. I just ran a locate on both, they're both huge money.

I agree, but I still think you have to get lucky on a Termi motor before it becomes cost effective. People are still asking $10K for junkyard Terminator engines. Even as badass as a Termi motor is, $10K is hard to justify. I'm sure you can find them for cheaper if you really look and wait for it, but $8K and up seems to be the norm.

Ehhhh, I'm still skeptical. By the time these are plentiful and cheap in the junk yards, they'll be obsolete and Ford will have a better engine in production. Gone are the days of mass producing the same base engine design for 30 years (like the 302) and I think it will forever change the way we see engine swaps. I almost think it's going to get to be like a particular engine may be a "popular" swap for 2 or 3 years before something else comes along. Almost like a fad.
