slight mis to it

First Id like to say hi and that Im a new member here. I have a 89 lx and will list my mods later. for the most part the car runs like a champ. it has been gettin a little slugish on me and it started to idle high about 2000rpm after a good warm up. It dont have that surge to it, but it had a slight mis when driving at cruse and at a red light and its not constant, it will run smooth mis alittle smooth again. Gave it a tune up and replaced TPS because it was way out of spec. The car runs 100% better, but that dam mis is still there. It doesnt do it under acceleration at all I have checked some sensors and they all check out. O2, IAC,EVC and checked for vacum leaks. I cleaned the mas air and have one of thoses plates on the IAC. like i said its not a surge. I got a few ideas, like EGR, MASS AIR , 10 PIN or Injector problem, but wanted to check with others out there to see if im on the right track or did i over look something. the car has ....70mm TB, 73mm mass air, E303, Winsor jr, Trickflow intake, 1.7, 3G, Under drive pullys, AOD with GER cluthches and 2600 stall converter, 3:55's,
bbk equal headers and a adjustable fuel regulater. Any advice would be helpful

Welcome to the boards!

How does it idle initially? The IAC could be gone, or you have a decent vac leak.

EGR at idle would diminish the idle.

Any codes?

welcome, my guess would be iac or tps, cuz when my car did what yours did it was a combo of the two.....good luck

With equal length headers it could be a plug wire issue or have you considered the condition of the plugs?

yes plug wires are all new and TPS too, thank all..... headed to the garage now...

Sorry, what I should have said was plug wires making minimal contact with the headers. Definately an issue with equal length headers.

OK, I know that everyone ruled out the EGR, but the vacume solinode, that controls vacume to the EGR< I have like none there at idel or when snaping the engine. I OHM it and its zero. Book says it should be between 20 and 70 OHMs. could this be the deamon? no parts store has the part need to wait till monday to go to Ford
