How much will slotted rotors help with otherwise stock brake systems? Also what is a good place to purchase a set for front and rear?

Might help jsut a bit but if you are doing brakes I would upgrade to the bigger brakes of the cobra. I think they still sell kits for that..

Honestly, the best option for a street vehicle would be SS lines and upgraded pads.

They are more for show (don't make your brake quicker, etc) unless you do regular autox or similar events (theoretically make your brakes fade less). If you are upgrading the rotors you might as well look into cobra brakes because it will be marginally more cost wise.

Getting new pads and rotors will make your brakes feel 100% better just by themselves. Go to Mustang Parts & Performance - American Muscle to take a look at some options.

I got my drilled and slotted rotors from speed concepts. They seem to have really good prices on pads and rotors. Got my stainless lines and bullitt front brakes from Buyfordracing.com and had an overall good experience with them as well.

Brakemotive on ebay, has them for like 156 bucks front and rear drilled and slotted rotors, front and rear ceramic powerstop evolution pads. Yes only 156 bucks for everything, ive said this before and ill say it again, just because they are cheap does not mean its an inferior product myself and my buddies have been putting them on our cars for years from hemi srt8's to mustangs, 3000gt's and everything in between with excellent results. I dont care what anybody says i have tested them i have real life proof their product is good sheet. Hell i need to be a spokesperson for them lol i get so many people to buy their products because they are ridiculously cheap and excellent

Ha, same here man, I am getting about 5 guys out of a local club to buy them after I got a set. I have put about 8k miles on these rotors/pads and they still have a ton of life left. I also have Hawk HP+ in the front, but I will probably be looking at a Ceramic pad next for it as it is too dusty and loud for a DD.
