Took my car to the strip the other night and came home slightly disappointed!!

Best run was a 14.8 times as follows
RT .2947

330 FT 6.2703
594 FT 9.0174
1000 FT 12.4778
1320 FT 14.8791

MPH@1/8 74.29
MPH@1/4 94.29

Car is an 89 Notch Back with the following mods.
3.73 Gears with auborn limited slip
Welded sub frame connectors
Tubular rear control arms
lowered 1.5 in front and 1.25 in rear
17"rims with 245/45/17 tires(like new) only 1000 miles on them
typhoon intake (polished upper and lower)
polished egr spacer
65mm polished throttle body
chrome edlebrock valve covers
crane roller rockers
ford racing "f" cam
dual electric fans (temp controlled)
Underdrive pulleys
90 amp 3g alternator
polished cold air intake

Clutch is good on the car and it seemed to hook well.

What's your track like? Air temp, humidity and elevation could play a big roll in how your car was running.

Get your 60ft times under 2.0 and shift it like you stole it and you'll be much happier with your runs.

The lowered suspension isn't helping your quest for decent 60ft times and depending on the type of tire you're running, that could be holding you back as well. If it's a stock radial, skip the long smokey burn outs, skip the water box and leave the air pressure alone. Drive it up to the line and practice getting it out of the hole like that. Fune tune air pressure as needed, but you shouldn't need to deviate more than about 8-10psi from the stock pressure.

Track was decent that night, running dot tires. didnt do a burnout and skipped the water box. Air temp was 78 and normal humidity.

Shouldnt i be hitting high 13 at least or is there more needed?

Im sure at this time more track time would help greatly but thought i should be faster with the mods.

Elevation is 710ft

I was launching at 3-3500 rpm with a little clutch slip to prevent roasting the tires.
