They are slow. My fathers a car dealer and we go up to auctions and we drive cars. Well i help myself to them atleast haha. I drove a 96 white cobra convert with 100,000 last thursday. My car feels like it would smoke it. It just didn't have any power, didn't seem like it has the torque. And i tryed to drive a 2007 corvette convert. Couldn't find where the dam key went. Now i figured out its a push button start. GOD DAMN IT! next week for sure though. And the 2005 and up v6's suck. But the v8's are fun. Theres a test track thats pretty long and you can tromp on it. I love auctions haha.

Im glad someones on the right page with me, I mean hell everyone here is saying "if you add some gears to it and this and that" hell anythings going to be quicker with that stuff. These cars are "new cobras" they are DOHC and whatever they should be fast from the factory, they should be able to dominate old 5.0s but they cant, cause they suck and everybody knows it, and i dont care about the times people say they saw or times from a damn spec sheet, when youre lined up together times dont mean s***!I'd never buy a 1994-1998 stang. And the best part of a street stang is 0 - 60. The torque and the way it throws you in your seat. I dont care if your car pulls at 50 plus faster then mine lol. That cobra did not "put you in your seat!" I tromped on that cobra and the start off was horrible. Your right maybe once past 40 its good. But whats the fun in that? And the looks are not even comparable to a fox. Oh and whats another sn 95 on the road. Like there isn't enough the way it is. I want to be the guy that has that sweet mean stang. "No not that one everybody else has" Its rare you see a nice clean fox these days.
