I have it on my 03 with the stock cats. I love it. Not loud at idle, not loud at low throttle. In fact my wife hated the 99 GT with magnaflow off road X and bassanni cat back because it was "too loud". No probs in the Cobra with the SLP.

But when I get on it......LOUD!!

Also, I love the tight, unique sound it offers.

so what you are saying is with an o/r h pipe it would be WAY loud? if so good cause thats what I want. when I got my car it had the flows on it and they just arent loud enough, also dont like the popping sound.

IMO Flows are crap. Just loud noise like a fartpipe now the SLP is freakin loud at WOT (so loud that under bridges I can here a slapping sound as the noise reflects of the bridge) but sounds excellent. (I also like the Magnaflow and Basanni, I am not some SLP freak or anything)

If your still in gear and loading the motor, it definately burbles, no popping though.

flow master is bottom line crap, that sounds like the exhaust fell off and you left it that way.

bought a flow set for my 99 and took it back due to poor fit and finish. Both my Bassanni, SLP and my buddies Magna flows were quality pieces. I cannot say that about the flows.

Simply the best sounding exhaust I've ever heard on a Mustang is Bassani, followed closely by Flowmaster...

SLP started with F-bodies and that's where it should have stayed...

I have gotten more compliments with the SLP than I ever received with my Basanni.

It really makes me smile driving it (the Cobra) and listening to the exhaust. If anyone has an old farm truck that sounds like my Cobra, I want to buy it.

I know about 4-5 people that have it and every one of their cars do not have an appealing sound to me...they sound like annoyingly loud mullethead cars...

With SLP's you might as well just put straight pipes on the car because you aren't paying for much of a muffler...

I have the SLP Loudmouth I ...and I get tons of complements on it. Guys on crack...LOL The Magies are way way to quiet.. have not heard the Flowmaster but I bet it's ok....but it's what you like...personally I"m putting a Mac Pro Champer H pipe on...I want more of that that love...(("oh and not going O/R way to loud")

I have a sound clip of my buddies car with the SLP LoudMouth I's and stock H's and then with SLP Loudmouth with the Pro Chamber on board....wicked


And what's wrong with a farm truck? LOL I mean hell that's working class...*booyeah* I personally detest the high flautent "japanamation sound"
