I really need help deciding between these two. I really want a deep, mean and loud exhaust for my 2003 Cobra.

I heard clip from the net but I do not think it give justice to the real experience. I currently have flows. I love the sound but it is too quite. How do these exhausts compare in your opinion.

I like SLP II because of the fitment, volume, and quality. But, I heard its just loud. Not deep and not "muscle-car-sounding". With my stock-h will they still be loud and deep?

The MAC has the great deep tone and I think with a good H-pipe will have the volume I like. But, I have heard a lot of fitment issues and rust issues.

And, how do they compare with flows in regard to sound--volume and tone.

The MAC sounds way better than the SLP. It is probably the deepest, nastiest sounding C/B available for the 03/04 Cobra IMHO.

MAC products do have a bad rep though.... the guys who are running the MAC C/B all love it though.

i heard the clips and think so also but i am concerned with the rust and fitment issues. Thats the only thing. i know they have a SS version out of the MAC 2.5in. I wonder what the sound difference is with it compared to the others.

i am too indecisive.

Go with the LM2s they have a deep sound and they are only loud when your giving it gas other than that its got a great tone. I havn't heard MACs but that doesn't mean that they are bad. I like my LM2s they are just enough for a CB IMO. Plus SLP is a lot more versatile than any other CB. They have three different types of muffler systems that are easy to swap out and change to give you different sound. I fell its the best option. ALSO fitment is great! its how cb installs are suppose to be!

Dude, anything on that monster is going to sound good. IMO just change out your stock midpipe with a O/R Pro-Chamber or a nice h-pipe, and you will have the sound you are looking for. Flows and a Pro-Chamber is pure sex. MAC does sound nice though.

I love the MAC catback. I had it on my 00 GT and I am going to be buying one for my 01 cobra. They do make a complete stainless MAC set up now. I was just about to order the duracoated exhaust and seen the stainless. I would go with the MAC.

id go mac, ive had mac on three of my cars and love it. ive never had any fiting issues with them but some bad luck with their headers. i also had slp lm1 with an o/r h pipe on my 96 for a 3 days and couldnt stand it. if you go with slp i would go with lm2 with an o/r mid pipe or lm1 with a catted mid pipe. just my opinion. good luck!
