Well I must say that this system rocks. It took about 3 hours to install with one helping hand,
a jack and a sawzaw. Not to bad eh. But I must say that I am retarded and cant figure
out how to adjust to right tip to be even with the left. The left one went in perfectly
then we installed the right and it sags. Anyone have any ideas. Here are some pics.

Sweet Looking Tips!...What's the system sound like? They look really good. Are they chambered or straight through? 3" tips?¿? :hail2:

The system has a real deap tone to it. Me and dad went for a cruise on 90-94 after the install because its near my house. And it doesn't have drone but when you get on it, it gets loud real quick. They are a straight through design(resenator) and the tips are 3.5".

Yes, this thread needs a sound clip. I think we're all anxious to hear what it sounds like on a 5.0. Hopefully not glasspacky.

Well ive never heard glasspacks but Ive heard from the 4.6 forum they sound a little like the magnapacks. But I love at idle after startup I can tap the gas and my car backfires lightly with every other cylnder it sound like and its badass.

But I will have a vid from byron raceway after we get back on the 11th so The video is coming.

cool. i love the tips. how much did it set you back?

you have to post some vids soon :nice:

Dont worry Ill post vids as soon as I can get a camera and figure out how to put the vidoe on my computer.

But Ill ask my original question again since people like pictures rather than reading. How do you adjust exhaust virtically with the bumper. The right exhaust tip sags a little bit. Is my supreme handy work at fault for not installing correctly, or can I buy shorter rubber hangers?

Edit: It was $440 shipped to my door with everything included except rubber hangers for the tailes so I used my old ones.

I would check the alignment of the pipe that goes over the axle, that may need to be adjusted. If that does not help, i would take the hanger out they gave you and just bend it so it pulled the tail pipe up a little more. Of course bending it might be tough if u dont have access to agood torch. This is what i did with my magnaflow tips, one hanger fell out and disapeared, so i used a hanger from a different year and bended it to fit.

man...lotsa chicago people here. my tailpipes need some work and i want my o/r hpipe back on cause that sound cant be beat with the flows on them. wanna see how misaligned my tailpipes are  :rlaugh:  :rlaugh:

Well for those in the rockford area on the the 11th Im gonna be at Byron dragway. So if you wanna hear the exhaust come out and see. The SLP exhaust came with there own brackets for the section that humps over the axle so I think Im gonna bend it.

Man I'm getting pist. The right side exhaust was designed poorly. I got under the car to check all of my clearences and didn't like what I saw. The hanger bracket that came with the exhaust puts the exhaust too close to the control arm so when I hit a bump, the hanger on the pipe gets scraped. Not to mention that they made the front half of the exhaust too long so the pipe toutches the gas tanks and is milimeters away for the fuel lines going over the axle.

How the hech am I gonna shorten the exhaust.
