i have a 98 gt and was gonna run the Pypes o/r x-pipe with the LM1's. I want it to be as loud and obnoxious as possible but still have a good tone. what should I run instead?

Dont get LM1s with an o/r pipe. As everybody said they are way too loud and sound horrible. Go with LM2s. Still loud but have a more deep tone too them. Sounds real aggressive. You will like them a lot better.

Yeah, they will sound real good with it. Still loud but a lot more tone to them than the LM1s.

Agreed - the LM2 with OR X sounds great.
And on my 02 with Stinger CB, I have no problem with 315s. And th clearance on the LM2 catback (on the 01 GT) allowed even more room, so you should have no problem - enjoy!

I have a 98gt with SLP LT's, OR X, and LM 1, it does sound like **** at upper RPM's, but at slow speeds it sounds nasty. Way too raspy, I have SLP Powerflo's waiting to go on, hopefully it will be better.
