Does anyone use both SLP Loud Mouth Catback Exhaust with SLP's X Pipe Full Assembly? I've heard good things about the loud mouth exhaust. Does anyone know anything about the SLP X Pipe? What kind of HP and Torque increases am I looking at? Combined the price is about $1000 with tax.

It flows very well, but its going to be VERY loud with their X-pipe, especially if its an offroad pipe. In fact, it would probably be ear peircing loud. It would get on your nerves for a daily driver, I know for a fact it would be significantly louder than my setup. (offroad x, 2 chamber flows).

In my personal opinion, half of me thinks the loudmouth sounds bad@ss, and half of me thinks it sounds like bubbling, popping metallic blobs of ***** being spewed out a shotgun. It sounds mean, but it blunts the sweet symphony of the Ford 4.6, and makes it sound more like a GM truck. In other words, sounds like something of big displacement, but kind of in an annoying way.

The X Pipe is made by SLP. It fits any 4.6 Mustang. I'll post a link to it. Would the SLP Loud Mouth be louder with the SLP X Pipe, or would it be the same sound if the X Pipe was stock? What kind of performance would I get with the 2 SLP products?

The loudmouth catback is going to be MUCH louder with the Xpipe. Midpipes add a significant amount of noise. A loudmouth with stock midpipe would sound aggressive and far from too loud, but with a midpipe its going to be very, very loud. And you want a midpipe becuase thats where most of your power gains are coming from.

I'd say with an X-pipe and LM catback, you would see ~20rwhp.

What would headers do? Would they alter sound at all?

Yes, it would be louder with the headers.

Even louder. Longtubes, shorty X, and LM catback would be disgustingly loud, and would no doubt attract every porker within a 2 mile radius.

I have SLPs' full exhaust system on my 03. Full length headers, x-pipe with high flow cats, and the loud mouth cat back. It is very loud, insanely loud to be exact. IMO to loud for street driving, I have learned to drive the car quiet, shifting the car at extremly low rpms but soon as you lean into it just a little holy **** it is loud. The car makes great power and incredible torque. I just wish it was much more quiet.

Do you guys know if the loudmouth and off road x from SLP would sound good on my 01? Thats my plan right now...

Would the off road x from bassaini make any difference? I would like their long tubs but I am lowered so I was thinking about going with the bassaini mid length headers instead.

Would the slp x pipe work with the bassaini headers?

Well how do the Borla Stingers compare then? I don't want something that I will end up not likeing.

If I went with the Borla Stingers which off road X-pipe would I want to go with then and would the bassaini mid length headers down the road work with that x-pipe...maybe even go with the SLP x if it makeing good power?

I run the CB and X-Pipe (O/R) and has to be the loudest thing on earth! Just plain mean.

Here is a video (about 15m long) that I made over here in Germany at the races (we close down the airfield and go to town) and you can see all type of Euro Trash, Rice, F-Bodies and Mustangs running. You will see my Cobra (White/Steeda Graphs) and HEAR it......have fun. My races are towards the end.

I've heard that combo and I have to agree.
