We thought it was your pretty face and award winning personality earning the big bucks.
Please Save any emission parts removed in case you change your mind and dislike the computer codes or for the next owner who might live in an overly active EPA state.

The other responses were from Thursday, so I did not look at the initial question’s date. Ten years later, I hope he has earned several raises on merit if not still on good looks!

There are still uninformed people who think hacking out emissions stuff out is the way to an instant 500 horsepower. 9-10 lbs under the hood that keeps your garage smelling better, keeps the computer happy, and keeps the Department of Environmental Quality off your tail seems worth it on all but full out race cars.

Well i dont live in hippy ville california. I live where emissions means jack. And most ppl remove the clutter around the motor for a better cooling effect. The horsepower gain is minimal but with less stuff around the engine it allows for more air movement to remove the heat from around the motor. I figured if u guys were so smart you would kno this. But i guess i was gettin ahead of myself. Theres always a method to peoples madness

Thank you @General karthief for putting that nicely.
Removing the smog equipment is already illegal for street use. I also live nowhere near California, but all it would take to get these laws enforced in all 50 states and DC is a president with a bee in his bonnet about clean air. That’s why I suggest a box on a shelf if you remove things. They will not interrupt your cooler airflow there.
