i just thought about this but i'm not going to re-hook up ANY of the smog stuff on my car and i was wondering, on the back of each head where those smog tubes screwed in, do i need to plug those holes or what? thanks!
what i usually do is cut the tubes off and turn the part around so the flat spot id covering the whole and rebolt it on. Works fine with no problems...

i understand..he says cut the tubes and flip the blocks over so they're solid, and bolt back on...i wasnt as smart so i cut my pipes and left an inch or so, then rolled it over a couple times and smashed the tubes flat against the blocks so no more air could get through, then reinstalled..
i cut off the tubes inserted a bolt in the tube end and welded the hole shut i guess i should have just fliped them around i could have saved about 20 minutes of time
