smog pump delete? help!

smog pump delete?

smog pump delete? help!

well i want to get my dad something to free up a little power under the hood so i would like to get him a smog pump delete because he has been talking about getting one and seeing on how he loaned me the money to me to get my mustang i want to get him something.


my question to you is where do i get it from?
Ive searched and i cant find him one.

Im pretty sure you just take out the pump get a shorter belt, and plug some holes in the back of the head.

Don't really think he'll see much of a hp increase by taking the smog pump out out, if anything you're gettin more weight out of the engine bay is what you'll see more of a gain

don't buy a delete pulley... just simply remove it all from your engine bay! then plug holes!

I think the delete pully would have almost as much drag as the smog pump itself...(spins pretty easy)

Buy him some headers,or an off road x pipe,or something with a measureable horsepower difference.He's your Dad,he's worth it.

Do that, AND remove the smog pump! It took me like 30mins to pull the pump, lines, and plug the holes. I also had the tranny out and plugged the holes in the back of the heads.
