gonna be droppin my trans for a trans swap, I plan on trashin the OEM headers and H pipe and doin away with the smog crap at the same time.
The question i have is....When I drop the trans, will i be able to access the air bypass tubes on the back of the heads, so i can remove them?

Its a 91 GT auto(for now)

you can get at them from under the hood easy enough, its just one 5/16" or 3/8" ? bolt that holds each one on . Then just cut them off right were the tube comes out of the flange, tap them for a plug or weld em up or you can just flip them over I think, and bolt them back up to block off the passages.

it may be easier to get at them if you have the bellhousing off. i know its a pita to get at the one on the driver side with the upper intake on. i believe its a 5/8 -11 bolt aout 1" long with a washer to plug those holes. same size as a spark plug.

yeah thats right, it takes a 5/8" wrench, so 7/16" bolt.
