Which emblems ? Ive been debating about taking some of the Duplicolor metalcast and making my pony black chrome. Its pretty cool stuff its just a tinted clearcoat that goes over chrome. http://duplicolor.com/products/metalcast.html

the emblems i wanna smoke, or get that smoked looked are the GT emblems on the side and rear of the car, and the pony emblem in the front. Im trying to find a place that sells them that way, but no look so far, i am not debating of doing the work myself but at the same time, ive never taken off any emblem nor have i ever put one on, so im kinda worried about messing up the paint.

Its easy , all you need is some goo gone and dental floss. I actually used kite string. But all you have to do is get some goo gone on the emblem and work the dental floss behind it. Youll prob go through alot of sting/floss but its not that hard. When you go to put the emblems on make sure you use a prep wipe or something to get all the goo gone off. The emblems have mounting tabs so its about impossible to mess up.
