Ok the other day I notice that I had some carbon residue around my driversides exhaust on the rear bumper. Tonight while sitting at a light I noticed that side's exhaust was "very very smokey" compared to the passanger side, it would cease a second and then puff again....all this while at idle. How do I trouble shoot this problem.

Is the smoke blue, white, or grey? Blue = burning oil, White = burning antifreeze/water, Grey = car running rich and dumping unused fuel out pipes (Grey will happen mostly when you are at high RPM and shifting.)

some people say to disconnect the battery for like 5 minutes and the computer will adjust to it or something like that once you connect it back........ just what i heard but i havent tried it.
