smooth saleen wheels

It depends, are you trying to build a complete showcar? If so, then you might want to look elsewhere, but if you're going to have a daily driver, pitting can be polished to near invisibility, and curb rash, depending on the severity, won't bring the cost down to the low price he's asking.

What I see is a guy who has NO idea what the value of these wheels are, so if they're in decent shape, pick em up, and if worst comes to worst, turn'em back over. You'll at least make your money back.

im definately not looking to build a show car....not with the car i have atleast, lol. ya im not sure that he knows the value either...i asked the brand of them to see if they were replicas and he kept saying saleen, so i'm going to assume they are saleen wheels....i shall find out in a few hours

got the wheels...they're authentic...they say saleen right on the lip/wall on the outside...theyre in decent shape, except one has some chrome peeling right around the center cap...i'm just going to get it re finished if i can...the other good thing is the rears have 285 35 18 nittos on them...i ended up paying 450$ for them

Nice work! Here I thought the lipped ones were our style, and the smooth were the new edge, but I was backward. Its cool that you found the ones that belong on Saleen stangs of our years. I cant imagine it costing more than 4 or $500 to get all four redipped in chrome. Then they would look new and still be a good value.

DAMN, you're one lucky SOB! I had emailed the guy but I didn't get a response from him. I knew what those were and I planned to make a road trip to get them. Oh well, congrats to you. Just be careful with them as they are known to crack around the spokes and you more than likely won't find a replacement for them.... I still wanted them though for my cobra for the street. :(

Yea these were about 5 miles from my house i was gonna leap if he didnt. Good find. Re chroming is not cheap... just throwing that out there... maybe get them media blasted and powder coated?
