SN95 Brake Conversion

I've been doing a lot of reading the past two weeks about the SN95 brake upgrade for foxes. The site has been a great help so far.

Here is what Ive purchased so far:
Front - Spindles w/calipers, rotors, bearing, etc. from a 95 mustang

I know Im gonna need a master cylinder and brake booster. Which ones would you guys recommend for this?

And what about a 3 to 2 conversion and prop valve? Where can I get these?

Basically Im trying to make a list of everything else I need. Any help would be appreciated.

Im trying to run 18 x 9 saleen wheels. So, hopefully I havnt screwed myself for that yet...

this guy sells a kit for a 3-2 port conversion Clicky (I just made my own) . Use a 94-98 V6 master cylinder. I use a 95 cobra r booster but anything 94+ v6 or v8 car will suffice just make sure it has the curved rod and not a straight one

How about a 93 Cobra Booster and master cylinder? I would think it would be easy to install, but how does it feel?

The upgraded 93 Cobra booster is a must IMO. I got mine from PPI (just search for "booster" and you'll find it). Its not cheap, but its a new part, so it'll last. From what I've heard, the stock fox booster on the larger diameter Cobra M/C is cause for some heavy pedal pressure. On the M/C I just got a '95 Cobra MC w/ the reservoir from the local parts place. Works like a champ. Got my 3-2 conversion from Maximum Motorsports & the manual proportioning valve and plug for the stock one from Summit.

I had to do some hunting at about 5 different parts stores to get the adapters and everything that I needed to hook it all up because the ports on the M/C were VERY different from the hardlines on the body.

Here's what everything looked like when it was all shiny and new. Kinda looks like I knew what I was doing...hehe.

It does look professional...

How was the fit of the Cobra booster? It should bolt right up without and reaming of holes or anything correct? Thats what im trying to avoid. I have the motor out to smooth the engine bay, so I figured now was the best time to install the booster, even if I dont change the master cylinder yet.

the booster I put in both of my fox mustangs were larger than the factory booster. Good thing the bolt holes line up....bad new you need to "massage" the strut tower w/ a BFH. Now is def the best time to get that thing in there!

Gonna be tough to get 18x9 Saleens on the rear with the Sn95 axles. You'll have to order a deeper offset than the front.


Or you could sell the brackets and axles and run the north race cars brackets and fox lenght 5-lug axles

I didn't even need the BFH. I had to stretch the upper right hole about 1cm toward the outside and then angle it into place. fit like a glove.
