A friend of mine is upgrading his exhaust system and he is giving me a killer deal on his Bassani system. Keep in mind his car is a '94 or '95 5.0..would the catback and x-pipe fit my '88 GT? If not, what modifications need to be done?
I would think so. I actually have a stock cat back from a 97 GT on my 87. It bolted right up to the H pipe and the only thing that needed attention was one of the exhaust hangers since it was longer and allowed the tip to hang about 2" below the bumper. But that was cut and welded up so they now sit level. I'm sure any good muffler shop could make it fit if there was any problems.
