Hey guys, long time reader first time poster. Well here's the thing, my dad has a 95 mustang with a paxton gss supercharger in it, but he's thinking of selling it and buying a Trans Am so i was wondering, would his supercharger and all the brackets fit in my 88? I've done a search on the forums with no luck so any help would be much appreciated.

I'd contact the folks at Paxton and ask them to be sure, but I think you'll run into some complications with the swap. The entire accessory package (water pump, power steering, a/c, etc.) on the 94/95's is different than on the Fox bodies. It sits closer to the engine by about 1.5". So I doubt the brackets would work unless you converted your entire accessory package to the 94/95 set up. Also, if your 88 is speed density, you'll need to convert it to mass air to work with the supercharger.

Yeah i had a feeling it wouldn't fit especially with the $200+ extra for 94/95 packages, oh well thanks for the help. The unit itself isn't even in the car, it was burnt up by the previous owner and he just threw it in with the car so between sending it out to be rebuilt and buying the brackets and everything to support it that would come with the kit it's probably not worth it. Thanks anyways.
