Man, not only is the cable rusted, but the entire arm is also. I can move it by hand but it’s a bitch. What’s the saying about going down a fox hole? Or is it a rabbit hole? Sure feels like a fox hole ...

Ha, sorry. The little gray screw. It it behind the door trim. Not on any drawings or videos. I’m wondering since this vehicle interior was replaced from white to gray it was done after the fact. It was really annoying to get to.

Weird. Yea, that’s what I did but it wasn’t included in the documentation.

Ok, thank god I was wrong about the door arm. Only the cable is rusted. Once I remove from the arm the arm moves freely. Pretty annoying to get in there. I am hesitant to remove the steering wheel.

Next question, how do I remove the cable from the mount?

I don’t want this to happen ...

2 questions

Where does the black one go? Either I accidentally pulled it off or it was already off.

Am I missing a line here? I’ll go look at the schematics now, but it seems one is missing

Schematic shows only 5 on the function selector.

The backside of this connector looks to be a 1:1 with the other colors so I just hooked it up symmetrical

Not having cup holders really makes it tough to work under the dash and drink beer.

Thanks for the kind words. Considering I have no idea what I’m doing, I’m going to take it as a compliment!

That;s an original screw, although it shouldn't be gray. Looks like your dash was painted or someone painted the screw head to match
