Derek said it well. The vac signal is critical on a MAP car. When one runs a cam with diminished vacuum signal, the puter sees this as the car being under load, even though it is at idle. So the TPS and MAP signal dont match and stuff starts to get funky.
As Purple commented, there are several very nice cams out there which work well on most SD set ups. It takes more work with a SD car, but a lot of guys do it for the sake of doing it or because we are stubborn and dont want to swap.![]()
Yup im installing a nx264 just for the sake of doing it , Im a fan of doing things the cheapest way possible
