and your point is? Unless your car is a trailer queen getting towed from concourse show to concourse show and it never sees a street where stopping ability is an issue, you want disks on your car. Getting rid of the stock drums on my 69 Mach I and upgrading to power disks was the first thing I did when I got the car. Then I did the suspension, then the engine. I binned the stock brakes too, including the spindles. Just had 'em tossed in the trash.
I sold what was worth selling and pitched the rest. I got $300 for the cylinder heads, $250 for the carb that was on it (was an aftermarket holley 600), $400 for the tires and wheels (aftermarket American Racing and BFGs).

What do you call not worth selling? Anything under $100? The little stuff adds up too. I sold about 20 items on ebay one month that ranged in price from $10 to $45. The total added up to over $500. Point, is there's guys here doing the V8 swaps in early Stangs that could have made good use of those V8 spindles.

The reality of my situation was that my car was 4000 miles away when it was being built. The builder was kind enough to take the good stuff to swap meets and sell them for me. If he couldn't sell the small stuff at a swap meet, the only other option was to ask him to handle selling it for me on eBay and all that entails. Too much to ask.
