The noid light just sits on top of the injector connector (it's just a mini test light that can flash really really fast - think pulsar star).

And harbor freight has those? There is a HF store right around the corner from me but all i saw was the test light.

And thanks guys, ill definatly check into those other things. With the TFI module, they need to run that test multiple times back to back right?

Test lights are at Harbor Freight.

Noid lights are only at parts stores or available online.

You got it about the TFI module. However, if your car wont even start right now, there really is no need to repeatedly test it. The repeated tests are for when a car only stalls when the engine is hot (repeated testing simulates high underhood heat).

Good luck.

Glad to hear you got it. I'm not sure what you had or have engine wise, but if it's fairly mild N/A now (I see all the turbo stuff you have for sale), you probably don't even need the box anyhow.

Good luck.

I agree. I've heard that, electronically, the aftermarket ignitions are VERY similar to Fords OEM ones(almost an exact copy). With a few features, here and there, to make them "better". Such as multiple spark and adjustable rev limiters.

When I was running the 2.3 turbo Merkurs/Thunderbirds, we had guys running 30+ pounds of boost and still using the Ford electronics.

I'd say that adding aftermarket ignition electronics to your Ford is "downgrading" from the good stuff.

Thanks again guys, for now im gonna run the explore motor N/A with Ed's turbo cam(got lazy and didnt want to swap cams) im gonna keep my hotside for the turbo just in case i wanna go back that way but i've had wayyyyyyyyyyy too many problems and i wanna keep it simple now.

Problem is, im running the PMS to tune the car. And thats why i got the ignition to begin with. It starts missing in the upper rpm's because the signal starts to get hard to read by the PMS so the aftermarket ignition makes it stronger.
