Its a 302 built bottom end, roller rockers, custom cam, elderock performer RPM heads. Fully built motor. The motor is getting tore down since its out of the car and rebuilt, hopefully nothing to major is needed. The block and heads are getting O-ringed for the headgasket of course. The car is getting painted back to the stock color which is Vermilion

After buying sand blaster, media, engine hoist chain, safety glass (2 bucks pretty cool as well), engine stand, paint, tape, ect ect.

and about 3 hours ago this is the end result

UPDATE!!!
Things we got done
  • removed the dash
  • remove the wiring harness in to the cab
  • remove seats
  • remove the blower for the ac/heater.
  • removed fenders
  • removed fromt bumper/lights ect.
  • Degrease the engine bay. (Thanks Jeremy)
Kinda at the point I'm like "now what" I'm not sure whats next on the list. I need to get the bay painted first I guess and then sandblast the oem suspension and paint.

I dont understand the whole "My mom made me wash my own clothes and wash the dishes" thing.

But it should be even nicer with the cleanup!

motor has been together for 7 years fully built. My dad built it back in 2001, since its mine now I'm taken it apart and going through it since the motor is out of the car.

I'm restoring the car, filling holes, hide wiring etc.
