I manage the print shop at the local college, its a short day for the faculty/staff. I however have to be here til noon and THEN go to our main branch and finish the day there. oh well.

Anybody else working the whole day too? Most I would assume.

I work at a college too. Students are dismissed so there's no faculty anywhere to be found, just us staff. Why! WHY!?!?! They'll probably let us leave at 3pm.

I work for the government i go into work today check my email we all get to leave 2 hours earlier then our original schedule as a thanksgiving treat. We still get paid for those 2 hours too

just drove back from St. George, Utah. My dad made me and my brother take a delivery from City of Industry to St. George. Loaded up again, dropped half the load in vegas, and just got in and showered....i left monday night.

Were truck drivers...

You guys are lucky. I have to work on turkey day. We are down one person and with vacations already approved I'm working turkey day. I'm also working this evening til 2300. I'm working from 1530 on turkey day to 0330 am Friday morning. The up side to that is I will make over 900 dollars for those twelve hours. Plus, I'll get another 8hrs of pay for the paid hoilday on Friday. We get paid holiday for Thursday and Friday. I would much rather have it off. I will be off this weekend and be back to work on Monday. I've had to work alot of overtime the last couple of months. I just bought my first flat sceen tv with a very nice wooden stand to sit it on. I paid cash for everything. Happy Thanksgiving to all. Pearl02.
