my only real concern is the block. im shooting for about 450hp to the wheels which should be easy. the internals are good for 800hp+ but the blocks limits are near 500. i just couldnt justify another $1800 for a dart or r block being that the car is a street car and i am in no way serious about drag racing. if i am correct, the civic is as out of commision right now as my car, but ill tell you, it rips. its a fully built 1.8 integra motor in a 98 civic with a hefty turbo in it. instead of a race i think the better contest would be who can make more tire smoke in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear. traction is a major issue for both of us.94GTLaserRC said:If youre feeling ok Rog, Ill be calling about 2:30 or so to stop by... would actually like to see the Civic too!

That block is not your original one rebuilt, right? Perhaps they used a block that started life in another application that did not need the hole. It has to be a roller block, of course, but out of what? Didn't the timing cover design change slightly for 94/95?
