it is a drainback for oil in the timing cover. it is supposed to be there. it just looks strange because of how jagged looking the hole is. joes motor has the same hole cut out the same way.StangGT1995 said:I agree. BTW, did you ever figure out what that hole by the distributor hole in the lifter valley was, and if it's ok?
