So the RSD got a makeover today!

So much for weight reduction... Any questions, feel free to ask me. I know my floor is dirty and stained. The car is going to get a real good cleaning when my project is completely done. The box is a dual 12" setup, and took a lot of rear dash massaging to get it to fit. On the bright side, good luck to any criminals that may try to steal it! Also, the 6X9 boxes dont mismatch as much without the flash of the camera.

The back of the "seat" portion is held up by the driveshaft tunnel where it meets the front of the trunk. It is high enough that it sits level. The black things in the front of the "seat" are just those little push in "Christmas trees", cause there are three holes in that raised floor board section where they are located and I used them to secure the front instead of bolts. If you get the right sized ones, they are a very tight and secure fit. That was actually hard to explain, cause I dont know the real name for those areas, so hopefully you understand my rambling.

i would like to see more pics on how you mounted and hooked up your battery kill switch.

Off topic from the RSD, but Im cool with it. I didnt take pics as I did it, but here are a few I just shot to show you how I have it all hooked up. The switch is basically a threaded shaft that you put through a hole in a panel. Then screw the big nut on and tighten it up. Thats all there is to mounting it... I drilled the hole behind the license plate and mounted it there. You hook the positive cable from the battery to one post, and then your cables to the alternator and power distribution box to the opposite post. I grounded the battery to the frame under the trunk using a bolt from a useless bracket I removed. I wired it accoording to the diagram using the small posts, but it ended up not charging correctly and killed my battery. Since I hooked it up the way it is now, I have had no charging problems. I need to redo my ground, because it started rusting as you can see in the pic. Im gonna grind it back down, remount it, and then spray over it to prevent the rust... Hope this is at least a litte bit helpful.
