So, who knows a clutch that can handle almost 600HP??? My centerforce dual friction just bit it.. I need the best they make and I thought centerforce was it, before I decide to go to an auto..

Tim from Modular Powerhouse told me about the Spec clutches... But I hear some bad reviews on them... A lot of people really didn't like them.. Not sure why???

Actually, they make Stage 4 and 5's also... However, they only recommend the stage 4 and 5 for racing purposes only... 1-3 is the street/strip version...

Some may dissagre but the Exedy clutches are hella nice way beefier than anything centerforce makes and their dual friction is rated at 1000 h.p even comes with it's own flywheel http://www.coximport.com/exedy/twinplate.html?make=Ford

Im running a stage three and that sucker grabs awesome and its not as "grabby" as the stage 4. my buddy has a stage 4 and that sucker grabs HARD. Its sort of a pain in the ass to drive with the stage 4 but itakes some getting used to.

yea i heard some good and bad reviews as far as spec goes. i think they were just noise, vibration, things like that. i dont remember hearing about them blowing out. they definatly make higher models that will hold the power, im just not sure about specs quality.

I can deal with the chatter... I've been drag racing for a long time... I've driven hi horsepower clutch driven cars and it seems to me that they are just heavier really.. .Have to get used to them... My biggest question is "Do they hold up" with horsepower numbers I am making... You know? I just don't want to take the tranny out, change the clutch, then have it perform as bad as the centerforce did... I went through two of them.. I don't want to make that mistake a third time... Whats up Adrenalin!! Yep, broke my car again...

my buddy has his in a 97 z28. car is modded with a cam, full exhaust, intake work and a 150 shot. so far the clutch has out-lasted three rearends and 2 new gears in the tranny.

no too shabby
