that's what they want you to think. lol. someone on stangnet said that "they" probably spike it up really high and then drop it down to just above what you were used to paying. you're not concerned with it being higher than before the jump, you're just happy that it's coming down. it totally makes sense. there's got to be something to that. has anyone else noticed this?

Actually, you are pretty accurate. With crude oil prices falling, under 60 dollars, gasoline prices are falling. But unfortuantely, gas prices go up really fast and down really slow. That is why oil companines have having HUGE profits right now. It is crapola. amnit: amnit: amnit: amnit:

And of course, with the extra revenues, oil companies are not doing a damn thing to help us out. They are not investing in new refineries because it expensive. One day, oil companies and the Middle East will be screwed. It amazing that every couple of years OPEC raises its acceptable limit that they dont mind seeing crude oil at. 3-4 years ago it was mid 20s. 1-2 years it was 30ish. Now, with prices hovering around 60, OPEC says that they are just about satisfied with the prices.

We actually have some of the cheapest gasoline in the world. I think it has been over 4 dollars a gallon over in Europe for along time now, if im not mistaken.

I am in Dayton, Ohio. The grocery store was giving out coupons if you spent $100 or more you could save 50 cents a gallon up to 10 gallons. I just moved here and needed furniture and odds and ends. I spent a little over $400 split up into 4 separate transaction to get 4 coupons. I put 10 gallons each in both cars and filled up 4 gas jugs at $1.77 a gallon. I need to figure a way to run my engine with water.
