Not to hijack, but Paul, what things have you powder coated. Either post pics or if you did some stuff in your engine bay, point them out, I have you engine pics to reference to.

I need to replace the catback so I am going to pioneer SummitRacing's catback for our cars. Also, if funds allow I will finally break down and get some roller rockers and maybe a cam.

Need to get a new windshield and some other maintance stuff.

Nothing really fun like a power adder or NOS.

I'd save your money for a better cat back. I bought the summit one 2 years ago tryin to save some money. Never could get it to fit right, mufflers hung too low, tailpipes weren't straight or even and the passenger side rattled right above the axle. Finally just cut it off and made dumps and hopin for a magnaflow for christmas.

Paul,

On your eddy lower are the studs/bolts broken for the t-stat housing? Or did you just have the threads plugged to prevent coating going in? Looks like the bypass hole is plugged too.

I used SS studs on mine makes things easier.

Good eye, I had to actually go back and look at the picture to see what you meant. No, its not broken studs, it is the little silicone rubber plugs I use to plug the holes so the powder doesn't get into the threads. I'll sometimes use aluminum foil too if I run out of plugs when doing an item. I like the stud idea, getting those two bolts in without knocking the stat out of alignment can sometimes be a pain. I use gasket glu and glue the stat in to help hold it until I can get it tightened down.

I have two plans for my car. Depending on cash flow at the turn of the year and my tax business doing well will determine mine. Neither is radical or amazing though. Just something to get my down the track around 12.50's.

I would love to get a home powdercoat setup, the guy that did my brackets,upper intake, elbow, alt. had a glass beader cab. and they came out awsome. Thought about getting my shorties done in ceramic but they are preaty roached and I will prob. go LT not too far off anyway.

ALOT of things I hope to see build pics of guys

My problems where due to the cam. Too high in the RPM range....and by 5500 the KB was past done with high boost #'s. Very easy to overspeed the KB.

And an old electric stove I bought in the local classifieds for next to nothing. I can't do anything larger than a set of valve covers or a lower intake, but it works quite well.

If I had a blast cabinet, it'd be REALLY easy to do stuff as the prep work is the hardest part.

Charlie- I can't wait to see what you have planned. When will it be debuted? I LOVE that Hogan intake, I want one in the worst way.
