i bought an 88 gt, i am trying to decide if i want to keep the heater stuff, i think i am gonna get rid of it, so i think i am gonna lose that weight from the box, and all of the a/c duct and all that stuff, i never use them in vehicles that have it anyways, what does this stuff weigh?

maybe 30lbs. I would just leave it and make up for it somewhere else.

well, i bought is as a roller, no motor, no trans partial interior, i have to put a dash in it( i took one out of a friends parts car's yesterday) and i forgot to grab the bolts that hold it up(PO didn't leave them) right now i am thinking more along the lines of a street/strip car that i can have some fun with

i don't have to worry about it now, i sold the GT in 3 days, that is a new personal best,a guy ran his fox GT into a pole friday night, and he came and bought it from me tonight

I was going to say the HVAC system doesn't weigh much, I think the heater core weighs the most and maybe the electric fan motor. The plastic itself isn't too bad, I didn't weigh mine but I think the whole system was maybe 20 pounds. The AC is another story though, just the compressor and bracket weigh about the same as the HVAC system lol
