soft pedal after caliper change

i just replaced my left rear caliper, did all the normal stuff--bled air,pumped and still have a soft brake pedal. I checked for leaks none found............what else to do????

car is a 06 gt

Why did you replace the right rear caliper? Did you bleed all four corners?

left rear.........it was sticking and had wore down the pads at 80k. no i only bled the left one.

I'd bleed all four corners. Bleed the rears quite a bit because of the distance to the master cylinder. I'm betting you've still got some air in there. Remember to top off the master cylinder if it gets low and leave the cover off until you're finished. Bleeding is cheap before you go looking for more expensive remedies.

ok i'll try that and see what happens. i guess i have been lucky in the past---only had to bleed the one i replaced and everything worked fine. this kinda through me for a loop. thx for your advice
