Romeo heads...while replacing valve stem seals, has anyone ever unbolted just one cam girdle at a time to replace seals/springs? I have the cams held in place at #1 cylinder TDC, with OTC hold down tool so they wont rotate.

Just an FYI. The SOHC 2v spring compressor tool is very cheap ($25). Seems like a smarter idea to me. I have this tool and it works well. The springs are not hard to remove on the SOHC 2V motors.
