After being in the paper(and Craigslist) for two weeks, I sold my Mustang for $4K!! A 1997 V-6, 5-speed with 125K miles, faded hood, rock chips and all. Apparently there's a strong Mustang market in Vegas!?! Who knew? The lady who bought it, got it for her 16 year old kid, who doesn't have a license yet, and can't drive manual trans !! What a loser!! I was side stepping a clutch when I was 13 !!
I wish my mommy would have bought me a Mustang when I was 16. Oh well, it turned out OK, caused I bought a 1997 F-250 Diesel with 33K miles on it!! Too sweet!!

Say goodbye to the old girl. Great car, put thru alot of **** and never let me down!

And, like you guys care, a pic of my sweet new truck!

Don't worry though, I'm not done with Mustangs. I still want a white 95' with a 5.0L and, maybe, a 90' with a mean stroked Windsor and nitrous. Take her sleazy!

I could never get rid of mine.. I have had it for over 7 years, I could not stand to put a FOR SALE sign in the window. I am still kicking myself for selling my white '88 5.0 GT in 1995. And besides, I have so much money tied up in my red '98, I'd never get it back. That's a nice looking truck, though.

By the way, on your Mustang, why is the galloping pony on the side facing backward?

Yeah, I noticed that also. I am sure the wheels and tint helped out with selling. And wow, $4k? That's above market value, way to go! I'm guessing that lady didn't do any research or the kid was all like...."I gotta have it mom!".

I somtimes miss my previous Stang.....but then I peek in the garage where my current one resides and I don't miss it as much. Nice truck btw, reminds me of my Bronco.

KBB value was $3800, VERY high book. It was a very clean car. I am very on top of all maintance and repairs, any little noise or hiccup gets looked at right away. I'd wash it every weekend, clean the carpet, wax it every 3 months. I do this with everything I own, kinda OCD, but all my **** is nice, sooo...

His mom just made him happy. She tried to talk me down, but when I heard the kids excitement about the car, I was not budging on price at all! Kinda dick, but they wanted it bad enough.

The badges have been like that since I bought it, just figured Ford only makes 1 badge and uses it on both sides. I'll look around at other 'Stangs and see if they are the same.

The truck is sooooooooo... sweet! I've been doing mileage tests on it and around town, with the A/C on, it gets 17-19 MPG! For a large truck with an automatic, thats awesome. Almost as good as the Mustang.

If youll notice it has different color paint on the fender and the door. Two different colors of red. Someone obviously didnt give it much thought when they were doing the autobody work...

The guy I bought it from hit something and had it fixed. The body shop did a crappy job, and the old owner should have caught it and complained. It isn't too obvious, but still noticeable. It didn't lower the price any though!!
