I finally got to unload my 96 GT that was nothing but,a POS
lemon over the five year period I had it.Maybe I just got a bad car
to start with anyhow last week I somehow got a small leak from
my radiator and I replaced it with a new radiator and new hoses also.
Since you have to keep fixing the car and replacing part after part it
just gets old overtime. It is also heavy and slow I got beat by a 03 WRX
Sedan not to long ago driving the mustang(I am a excellent driver too!) their is just no hope for this car.I will never buy a Ford ever again.I hope my 07' Subaru STI will be alot more dependable and reliable than my mustang was.
Later folks.

Lets put it this way not enough.
Ford's don't hold the value worth a darn.
On the other hand Subaru's are one of the top five automakers
to hold their value over the years.
I am just happy I could sell the POS and have more money
to mod my 07 Subaru STI that's more important to me.

I knew you were on the subi band wagon...but man dont bash the stangs .

Now im not sure what to think about you mang, you never bashed stangs in the past that I seen...but just supported the STI. Nothing really wrong with that.

But one thing I dont like is stang bashers on a mustang site, makes you sound like a troll...Maybe killy wasnt joking.

Have fun with your STI, if you even have one

Thats funny. I have owned my 01 for over 3 years and put 60,000 miles on it(90,000 total) and the only problem I've ever had was my intake manifold cracking. I'm not complaining. Also comparing a ten year old car to a 3 year old is pretty dumb, I've gone up against a couple of WRX's, even a brand new one and didn't have a problem. Maybe they where just bad drivers?

Well, when you're cruising around under boost and people swear the Blue Angels have just done a low altitude fly-by, replace your turbo. Bring $$$$

If you have a small winkie and are not interested in picking up girls, you will enjoy your Subaru. Good luck with it.

I think you made the right decision. All I hear from you is Sti this and that. Don't get me wrong, it is a great car, but you preach it like nobodies business. Nobody cares, especially when you start bashing what this site is all about ... Mustangs.

odd that most 89-92ish foxes still go for 5-6k....thats only 50% loss in say 15 years....thats incredible for a car!

btw...you should just traded up in mustangs...a modded wrx sti couldnt beat my near stock car and had to use the age-old lame excuse "well, I wasnt getting on it full blast"....sureeeeee....

hehhe...get you a nice STI and swing on by my way

The Fox's command more money because everybody wants them. Nobody wants the 96-98 4.6 's. It's all about supply and demand. Most people look at it this way... why buy an early 4.6 when the '99+ are so much faster and newer? Even though the 94-95 is 5.0 powered, a lot of people associate it with 4.6 cars. So it's value kinda suffers a bit too. The market is also different in certain regions. I wouldn't pay jack for a 96-98 Mustang GT.

Yup^^

Also I hate to say your going to be dissapointed about the resale value on your STI. I know around here you can pick up an 03-04 for 20 or under when the car cost like 30+ new. That and it costs 32+ to make 700 awhp on that car lol.

If you really break it down, every car costs about the same to make it go really fast. Yellow fever usually wears off in time. He'll be back. I bought another Mustang after I said I wouldn't. My first Mustang GT was a lemon. I still say mine is a piece, and I'll never buy another, and I should have bought that Boxster instead because I only drive German cars---but I still have a GT somehow. You'll be back comrade. You never leave the KGB. I mean Ford. Yeah, Ford.

Not when your talking about a 30k+ car and then another 3xk to get 700 hp to the ground and thats if you get 700. Thats also if he even bought that crazy a$$ kit. I might have 30 into my car including the car and I should have a solid 550+ rwhp and have room to make 700 rwhp. I have another 30-40k to spend before I would be equal to his supposed car.

don't come to the stang forum bashing the mustang...that's just stupid. You like your STI, that's fine, it's not my cup of tea. I'll admit they're quick and they're good cars, but I prefer my mustang personally. I'm not on a subaru forum talking about your car am i? you sold ur stang, if you got nothing nice to say..leave and don't come back
