I already posted this post but it was in the 5.0 Talk instead of the 5.0 Tech, so sorry if you read this twice.

I am replacing the suspension parts in the rear on a 87 GT, so far I have lift bars, upper and lower control reinforcements installed. Next is a set of upper control arms.

My question is, the upper control arm bushings on the rear end are shot, the are falling apart. I was going to replace them with a set from energy suspension but I saw they make a set of solid aluminum ones online. Has any one ever ran these? Did the tighten the the rear up? This is pretty much being set up for drag only. Just wanted to know what the rear benefits of running these would be.

Thanks in advance
