Solve my one wheel peel ordeal!

So i do a little burnout infront of my friends house who has a v6 camaro and his friend that has a 92 accord to show them what muscle means Anyway, i get online tonight and the guy with the accord says man that burnout was awsome! Only one tire spun! So what can i do to fix this. Does it have something to do with Fords version of Posi trac? Thanks.

Yup. I usually laid down 2 nice black lines in a burnout. But now that is a rare thing. I am in need of a t-loc rebuild also. But hey, it's a nice excuse for some 3.73 gears.

rebuild kit is about $40 and can be done with out pulling unit from car. It's not that hard

It entails usually pulling out the old friction plates and swaping in new ones. Not too difficult. Remember the friction modifier that you have to add to the lube.

Go to the local Ford dealership and ask them for a posi rebuild kit for an 8.8 Ford. Like someone else said, make sure to get the friction modifier as well. After everything is put back together, I would take it easy on the car for the first few 100 hundred miles. There are all new clutches in the posi that need to be soaked and heat treated. If you go out and pound on it, your really taking a risk of messing something up.

do these parts come in the install kits for gears? i am getting gears and planned on getting the deluxe ford install kit (about $110) for them. will this take care of the one wheelers or are other parts still needed?

I would also like to know the answer to your question rio95. I'm going to buy 3.73's in the next couple of weeks. Is it worth it to buy any of the install kits? Are any of them absolutely necessary? Do they take the place of a Trak-lok rebuild kit?

all you need to do is replace the clutch in the rear, that's all... not too expensive, just time consuming, unless you pay a mechanic 1 hour labor...
