some info on the hard hot start

Does anyone know what Ford says about this 'issue' ? I just think it's weird that my car (and apparently many others) cranks like **** but runs strong once it is started. Gotta love our Fords.

After that huge seafoam thread, I ran a few cans of the stuff through my car (not all at once) thinking it might help. The hard starting actually 'seemed' to get worse after... did anyone experience this?

grounds

i had the same problem... it was because my grounds were bad. check all your wiring from your battery to the starter. Go through grounds and postive side. when electrical connections get hot they carry less current. I havent had problem since i fixed my grounds, it starts up like a brand new car every time no matter how hot it is

I would like to take a look at a car doing this. if anybody has this problem in the eastern ma area PM me.. so far I have not been lucky enough to have one come in for this.

Mine does it too. Not sure why. Stock battery as well.
