Some pics of my Sat. Dez racing & The pike

Had a pretty good day yesterday, got up early to go with my buddy (bentley429) to Dez Racing in Mass to dyno tune his car. I'll leave the results up to him when he makes his thread, with video But I just wanted to show the pics I took of other cool stuff that was there. Later we went to a semi-local Saturday night hang out, the Berlin Turnpike in CT where I also got some pics of the cooler cars there.

This is bentley429's car sitting on the rollers.

The owner, Mike Dez's car. One of them anyway. In his words, this one "only" runs 8.60s. I believe he has cars in the 7s.

Some oval track GT that was there. It was built for the oval track across the street from the place. Check out the inside of the doors, they we're probably about 10lbs.

A '70 Chevelle that they are building. All aluminum fuel injected bbc with a Procharger F-2. Should go okay.

2 valve 4.6 with a Procharger that made 700rwhp. Crappy pic, sorry.

Factory 5 kit Daytone Coupe Cobra

'69 Camaro with an 8-71 blown 540 bbc. I heard from other people there over 900rwhp and it's not fine tuned yet.

This is a beautiful '57 Chevy truck. Sorry for some crappy pics. It was dark at this point obviously.

MEAN sounding, and beautiful '68 Camaro, again sorry for the crappy pics. No real info on this one. He had the hood open last time and all I know is it's a wicked sbc.

Coupe that had just ran a 9.52 at the track that day. 349 carbed motor with 2 stages is all the info I have. Sounded like it revved to about 9k when he cracked it quick

Definitely the coolest car there. THE mullet mobile. Lifted firechicken with some genuine 80s paint, and pink everything. Simply badass.

I have yet been up to the pike. Hopfully in the next few weeks when my car gets out of paint ill be up there.

It's been pretty good. Quite a few 9 sec. or better cars cruising the streets this year. Last night was the best of the year until there was about 2 rain drops and everyone left.

Well that would be the worst idea seeing as thats when the road is the slickest, most of those guys stay and wait it out anyways.Its summer the roads dry fairly fast.

Exactly. All the guys with real cars hang around till the rain stops, although it never even started this time haha.

Nice pic's! I've been down to Dez's a few times, as both my brother's car and mine have been dynoed there. He's a nice guy too. I saw a Capri in one of the pic's. Is that one of Mike's car's too?
