Car will be ready for paint on Monday. Finish the sanding tomorrow and then prime it. The old paint was very bad, and was peeling off, so we are sanding it down to bare and starting from a clean surface.

Starts off with a Metallic silver Harley Davidson color, and then art work in black and charcol, then gets a dyed candy blue claer coat on top. Same color as this:

The plan as of right now is a realistic flame pattern, weaving in and out of the more common flames you see on hot rods. Give it a very deep almost 3d look to it. Would like to incorporate the running horse into it somehow as well.

My nickname is Beaver (hahaha long story) and I am an avid poker player, so under the hood is getting 2 Beavers (one on each inner fender) playing some poker.

His work is amazing. www.ezairfx.com is his site to see some of his work.

Well it blew my budget for the car all to hell for this year. Took out a Line of Credit after my mod money disappeared. So once the paint is done, that gets paid off first then I can put the 2 T3's I have sitting in my garage on for next season.

I blame guys like mansonozz, bottlfed, Dman302, and many more for having such awesome cars for me to get insperation from, and blow all my money on.

Thanks a lot for the high thoughts. I'm in good company there, two guys I respect a lot (both as people and their rides)!

Oh, and don't blame us That car is going to be completely badass when the body is all done and you get those T3s in What's the full plan for the setup?

I read that you wanted to incorporate the running horse? Well heres an idea that i just want to offer you. At the tips of flames or maybe blending into the flames you could do a running horse or two. Like the tips of the flame are the outline of the front of the running horse or something.

I'm sure this is hard for you to see considering its in my head and i have no software that i could use to try and half ass show you. But that was my idea.

Sorry to confuse you. Its gonna look good though no matter what you do.

Something like this in the realistic flames is my idea. But I will let heath do his thing on it, and see what he comes up with.

Well dave your car was the first I saw with the smoothed engine bay and I said one day I would do it. As for the completed turbo set up, I am buying it one piece at a time (got the T3's first) and now will look into custom IC, and a mega squirt system.

His site hasn't been updated in a long time a lot of the stuff on there is years old now. I am re-doing his new site to help off set some of the cost of what he is doing for me. New site with all his latest work will be up June 1st. He has numerous 1st place awards for art work, and is one of 26 or 27 people licensed in the world to paint Itech and eddy Goalie masks. He has painted a couple pros masks, but since I don't follow hockey I have no idea what teams they play for.

Car should be finished by end of next week and have it home and I can start the wire hiding, and drop the new engine in it and hope I don't scratch anything.

Ordered all new rubbers for the T-roof and doors/hatch etc. I figured if I was going this deep I may as well go all the way, and have everything look like new on it. It did however put a hold to my 5 lug swap for the season, but there is always next year. I will roll with the ponies for one more season and then get the swap done.

Magazine coverage would be my dream down the road, but just a couple of first place trophy's for local car shows would make me happy too
