ok so i'm planning to do my suspension throughout the year and i have some questions that i couldn't find by searching.

heres' what i'm planning on doing eventually with the suspension

front coil over kit
strange 10 ways front and back.
upper/lower control arms
c/c plates, bump steer kit and stuff

i mainly care about accelerating in a straight line, but i don't want it to handle worse than stock (stock handling is adequate for me) and i'd like it to be lowered as well. from what i've read stiffer is better for the back and softer is better for the front at the strip right? so i was thinking that if i got the front coil overs with soft springs and 10 ways, they would take care of both worlds right? i could raise the height and soften the struts for the drag strip, then lower it and stiffen the struts for the street.

and what about the back springs? could i use the stock springs and cut them to the height i want or should i try and find a stiffer lowering spring?

sorry for the long post, just trying to get a game plan together.

Im still kinda searching this myself (and doing as I go along). If youre plannning on Coilovers, then you need the 4-bolt C/C plates. Steeda has them, and I just got the chrome ones from MM. From my recent posts, it seems Bilsteins are the way to go for front struts, and they have coilovers to go with them.

As far as control arms...IM still undecided myself, but Ive ruled out Granatelli. Im looking at these ones from UMI on Ebay. Steeda has them for $179 (LCA) and UPR has them. They say the cheap ones are "cheap" but those who I see with them havent really complained. If my stock ones are still good after 10 years, how bad could the "cheap' ones really be.??

Dont forget if you are upgrading suspension to get some full lenght sub frame connectors and have them welded in.

So far, I have Steeda Springs and SFC, 4-bolt c/c plates going in, and that's about it. I havent decided if my next move is LCA or Bilstein Struts.

Good Luck

yeah. i wasn't specific on the parts, sorry.

i'm plan on the pro3 control arms, mm 4 bolt c/c plates, and mm full length sub frames. so that's pretty much covered.

what about the upper control arms? should i get the adjustable uppers? because when i lower it, won't the pinion angle be off? or is it not really an issue?

oh, and am i right about the stiffer springs in back and softer springs in front?
