Somebody clear up ? about 00' GT for me please

My dad says it has a IRS while I have searched on the internet and it says that only the Cobra got IRS.

What I found is this

independent MacPherson strut in the front
solid axle with 4-bar links and coil springs in the back

The Cobra's from '99 to '04 got the IRS.The only way you would get an IRS under a GT is if someone had put it there by swapping out the solid axle diff.

yeah why didnt u just pull your dad under the back of your car and say "see look dad, solid axle just like a truck!!" sometimes parents think they know everything
