Hello.

I have a Mustang GT -01 with D&D Motorsports Econo Upper/Lower Control Arms DDCA115 and the problem is that the rear end is creaking and squeaking very much, especially when it´s raining or when I have washed the car, so I think the bushings in the control arms is bad? Can I changes them or lubricate them? Or do I need to buy new control arms? If I can buy new bushings, where and what cind do I buy.

Thanks

D&D states that they are greasable, which would mean there is either a

1. bleeder valve where each bushing is, or

2. You have to remove the LCA's, pull out the bushing system and re-grease them.

if/when you regrease them put alot on, but don't go overboard

agreed. when i ddi the bushings for my swaybar (front) i gobbed it on then used a tooth pick to make it a thin sheet bout paper thick, havnt had a squeek for 17k. though with all lube bushings you WILL have to regrease at some point no getting around that.

Thanks!

there is no bleeder valve on them, so have to take them down then.

"Stangman": no I didn´t install them, they was on the car when I bought it.

well from personal experience; if the sway bar is very hard to put back on / put back on incorrectly, it can put undue stress on the control arm bushings. that added pressure causes creaks & squeeks & possible bushing failure.\

when this happened to me, launching on slicks caused me to kill a couple bushing REAL fast

oh, maybe I should take the sway bar off then ?
I have to look into that.
