In the 96, I never need to adjust because with the 4.10...I'M ALWAYS IN 5TH!!!
However, the Termi is gonna take getting used to. 6th is up and not back, so that's weird. And shifting into 5th, I fear going into Reverse, but I don't think that could happen. I would think they have it blocked when you are moving forward.
There is a reverse lockout solenoid in the T56's. Works with the ECU and the speed sensor.
The times I have forgot what gear I'm in (can count them on one hand over 7 years), I was so out of it, I wouldn't even know to look at the indicator if I had one.

Now, it's no problem when I drive his car. I love the shifting of that 6spd, more than mine.
