... Im not sure i like them compared to the 96-98 style... Ultimately i want them and have them tinted.... for now i tinted my taillights to see how these would look.... im not sure tho.. i do like them.. but i think i still wanna do the 96-98's..

eventually yes.... but first thing is tires... im gonna do something massive... 335 or 345 if i can make it work.. soo i gotta see how it sits first with the tires then ill go from there.. it does need to be lowered tho i agree

how many coats did u use and did you use any clear? i did mine about 2 years ago and theyre just starting to fade, i never put any clear on mine. originally we did like 6 coats i think, pretty dark and over the years of DD usage they lightened up. next time around i will be going a little darker and clearing them.

other than that they look sweet... VHT is one hell of a product IMHO

I used 3 coats of the VHT and 2 coats of acrylic clear on top of it... .. when i get my 96=98s im probably gonna actually use tint for them... unless these holdup nice for awhile, i might spray them too

I've done 4 or 5 sets of tails with VHT, and from my experience if you want them to be nice and shiny, after the desired amount of VHT to the desired darkness, put about 5 coats of clear on. Once it has fully cured a day or 2 later, wet sand and buff them like you would a car.

Here's my buddy's car I did this summer and they came out awesome. Enjoy!

I've had friends get stopped in Daytona for having bone stock tail lights with no modifcation whatsoever. The cops would claim they were aftermarket tail lights and write them tickets.

I lived in Oklahoma, so hat probably had something to do with it. Those cops don't really care about anything. I'm surprised I was never pulled over for it in Delaware. Or even when I would drive through PA or NJ.
