Soooo will it go boom?

I'm curious about having a water mist hit the blades while turning 50k+ rpms.. I know it will work that way, as that is how the Mr Freeze kit works, just haven't read any reports on whether it is a good idea or not for blower longetivity.

don't know the answer to that myself. I haven't heard anything bad about it yet. I know they run it through the roots blowers also with good results.

order a dart block right after you buy that blower and start building a new shortblock case that DSS junk aint gonna last. you can put as many girdles, screw-in freeze plugs and ace bandages on a stock block as you want, but it still gonna break.

with 10.5:1 compression your riding a fine line of detonation, get a spray kit and call it a day

Don't preach everything you read online guys.

It will be fine. 10:1 really isn't that high. It will actually LOVE the compression, and it will ****in rip. The only worry is detonation, so make sure you have a healthy fuel system, at LEAST a 255 in tank and 42lb injectors. But I see this setup needing an inline and 60s. Also, don't even think about doing it without a good dyno tune. It would be a really good idea to run a meth kit just to be really safe.

There's one other problem that I see. The car is probably going to make a lot more power than you want it to. It might be kind of dificult to keep it under 500rwhp. This is where the tuner comes in. Have him pull timing and stuff to keep it as safe as possible.

I agree... boost and compression don't automatically = destruction but they do = serious HP. I already have a 255 in tank and 30lb injectors but upgrading wont be an issue. The dyno tune will be the first action the car sees immediately after install. I'm also researching a meth kit as well, I'm just a little weary of constant refills because I do like to take the car out for weekend cruises and sometimes I'll drive a decent amount of miles. How often does a kit typically need to be refilled during typical street driving? My car sees the track a few times a year and otherwise is a garage queen.
