sorry, dumb question on coolant overflow cans...

on all the coolant overflow catch cans, i see 2 lil fittings for the small rubber hoses. one goes to the radiator...but what the heck is the other one for??

The other is for a hose that just hangs out, incase the overflow tank....overflows.

but...they're both on the bottom, which is why i was scratchin my head on this one...

If you open the can and look inside you will see one of the tubes comes all the way up to the top inside the can....this is the overlfow can's overflow line....the radiator line hooks up to the other plug
