ok, so im gonna need a new clutch in m 02 GT soon, adn after some searhcign i have coem up with this:

im looking for either a mcleod, centerforce, or spec clutch.
pro's con's of each, adn do they sell a whole kit (disc, pressure plate, alignment tool) for my 02 GT, and where can i get them?

not loking to spend a LOT of money on it (im also going with a fidanza aluminum flywheel) and hoping i will get it as part of a christmas gift :)

right now im making over 360rwtq, and i def. plan on making much more, so i need room to grow

thanks guys!

I am running a little over 400rwhp and have a spec stage 1 in my car. the pedal is HEAVY as crap! And it chatters.
If you had the $$ to spend, I would go w/ the twin disk mcleod, it is smooth as butter and light.
But I'm saving for the centerforce clutch. They move the piviot points on the pressure plate so you still get a lot of clamping force, without the crazy pedal pressure.

So here's one vote for centerforce

I got the spec stage 2 w/ spec alum flywheel. The clutch is about the same heaviness as the stock one. Its like an on/off switch, either it will act normal, or it will shock the crap out of your drivetrain. Makes street driving a little hard, but its my DD.

One of my friends was nice enough to let me drive his
mustang with a Centerforce DF clutch and all I could say is wow! :nice:
The Centerforce DF clutch grabs very well and the feel is
excellent.I have a Centerforce DF clutch and throwout bearing
on my floor right next to me I'm just waiting for some free time
to install it I can't wait.
Go Centerforce you will not be sorry it's a great clutch for the money.
